Terms of Use

Last updated 6 July 2026

These are the ground rules for using the Original Sin Paintball (OSP) site and apps: Genesis, Verdict, Oracle and Eden. OSP is run by Andrew Kennedy, a sole trader in Australia (ABN 63 526 303 488). By creating an account or using the apps, you agree to what is below.

Where things are at

OSP is a one-person build, and it is a work in progress. Some apps are in open beta, some are still in testing, and some are not open yet. Everything is provided as-is. Features can change, and things can break while they are being built.

Your account

Your content and your team

Anything you add, your profile, team pages, rosters, logos and posts, stays yours. By adding it, you give OSP permission to store and display it within the apps so the scene record works. You are responsible for what you post, and you should only upload things you have the right to use.

Claiming a team, field or store

You can claim a team, field or store so it becomes yours to manage. When you make a claim, you are telling me you are genuinely entitled to it. I review and approve claims, and I can decline or reverse one if it isn't right. Don't claim something that isn't yours.

Playing fair

Don't use OSP to harass others, post illegal or abusive content, spam, break into accounts, or scrape the site in bulk. Keep the community board civil. I can remove content or accounts that break these rules.

The scene record

Genesis records factual information about the Australian paintball scene, teams, results, venues and seasons, some of which is public and historical. If something about you or your team is wrong or missing, tell me through the contact page and I will fix it.

Availability and your own copies

I can't promise the apps will always be available, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own copy of anything you would be upset to lose. Coaching notes, rosters and the like are yours to back up.

Paid features

The site is free to use today. Verdict is planned to become a paid product for the operators who run tournaments. When that happens, separate pricing and terms will apply, and nothing is charged until then.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, OSP is provided as-is and my liability to you is limited. Nothing here removes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which always apply.

Changes and contact

I may update these terms as the apps grow, with the date at the top showing the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Questions? Reach me through the contact page.

This is a plain-language agreement written by the person who runs OSP, not formal legal advice.
